A beloved Puerto Rican holiday dish, consisting of a seasoned pork filling wrapped in a savory masa (dough) made from grated toro root, green bananas and green plantains, all wrapped in banana leaves.

Pasteles ship uncooked and frozen.
Box ships with ice pack and dry ice.
May thaw in transit.
Upon arrival place in the freezer, may be kept frozen for up to 6 months.


Cooking Instructions
1. To cook the pasteles bring a large pot of salted water to boil.
2. Add the frozen pasteles in a single layer.
3. Let cook for an hour and 10 minutes.
4. Once cooked, unwrap and serve right away.
